Becky Donaldson from the Show Full House played by Lori Loughlin

Lori Anne Loughlin was born July 28, 1964 in New York City.  She is most famous for playing the role of Becky Donaldson on the TV comedy Full House.

Lori started her career off as a child model and did catalog ads for Sears.  She then began appearing in television commercials for several years.  Loughlin landed her first television role at 9 years old making an appearance in a 1971 episode of The Smith Family starring Henry Fonda, Janet Blair, Ron Howard, Darleen Carr, John Carter, and Michael-James Wixted.

In 1979, Lori played a small part in the television movie Too Far to Go co-starring Michael Moriarty, Blythe Danner, Glenn Close, Kathryn Walker, Ken Kercheval, and Josef Sommer.  A year later in 1980, Loughlin made occasional appearances as Jody Travis in the soap opera The Edge of Night with Joel Crothers, Forrest Compton, Ann Flood, and Wade Nichols. Her last appearance as Jody Travis was in 1983.

Lori made appearances in Matt Houston starring Lee Horsley, and Pamela Hensley; and The Tom Swift and Linda Craig Mystery Hour co-starring Willie Aames, Christopher Blande, Ja'net DuBois, Amanda Wyss, George DiCenzo, William Windom, and Carmen Zapata.

Loughlin landed her first film role in the 1983 film Amityville 3-D co-starring Tony Roberts, Tess Harper, Meg Ryan, Robert Joy, Candy Clark, John Harkins, Neill Barry, John Beal, and Leora Dana.

Lori would go on to appear in shows and films such as The New Kids co-starring Shannon Presby, James Spader, Vince Grant, Eric Stoltz, John Philbin, Paige Lyn Price, and Theron Montgomery (1985); Secret Admirer aka The Letter co-starring C. Thomas Howell, Kelly Preston, Dee Wallace, Fred Ward, Courtney Gains, Corey Haim, Cliff De Young, and Leigh Taylor-Young (1985); North Beach and Rawhide co-starring William Shatner, Tate Donovan, G.W. It was in 1988, that Lori landed the role of Becky Donaldson on the television show Full House.  She co-starred with Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).  She played the role of Becky for eight years until the show ended in 1995.

After her run on Full House, Lori immediately landed the role of Melanie Clifford on the TV show Hudson Street.  She co-starred with Tony Danza (Tony Canetti), Jerry Adler (Lt. Al Teischler), Christine Dunford (Officer Kirby McIntire), Frankie J. Galasso (Mickey Canetti),  Shareen Mitchell (Lucy canetti), Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter (Winston Silvira), and Tom Gallop (Officer R. Regelski).  Lori played the role of Melanie for the entire two year run of the show.

Loughlin played the role of Ava for two years until the show ended in 2005.

During her run on Summerland, Loughlin also did some voicework in the show Justice League starring Carl Lumbly, George Newbern and Phil LaMarr (voice, 2004); and 1-800-Missing starring Caterina Scorsone, Vivica A. Fox, Louis Ferreira, and Mark Consuelos (2 episodes, 2005).

After Summerland, Lori made appearances in movies and shows such as Jake in Progress starring John Stamos, Wendie Malick, Rick Hoffman, and Ian gomez (2006); Farce of the Penguins co-starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Alexander, Jason Biggs,
Christina Applegate, James Belushi, Dane Cook, Dave Coulier, Lewis black, Drea de Matteo, Mario Cantone, and Harvey Fierstein (voice, 2006); and Ghost Whisperer starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, and Camryn Manheim (2006).

In 2007, Loughlin landed the role of Dr. Joanna Lupone in the TV show In Case of Emergency.  She co-starred with David Arquette (Jason Ventress), Jonathan Silverman (Harry Kennison), Kelly Hu (Kelly Lee), Jackson Bond (Dylan Kennison), and Greg Germann (Sherman Yablonsky).  The show only lasted one season before being cancelled.

After In Case of Emergency, Lori starred in the film Moondance Alexander co-starring Kay Panabaker, Don Johnson,
James Best, Joe Norman Shaw, Sasha Cohen, Mimi Gianopulos, Julia Maxwell, landon Liboiron, and Whitney Sloan (2007).

In 2008, Loughlin landed the role of Debbie Wilson in the new version of Bevery Hills, 90210 simply called 90210.  She co-stars with Shenae Grimes (Annie Wilson), Tristan Wilds (Dixon Wilson), Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna Tate-Duncan), AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi Clark), Jessic Stroup (Erin Silver), Ryan Eggold (Ryan Matthews), Matt Lanter (Liam Court), and Gillian Zinser (Ivy Sullivan).  As of the writing of this article, it is rumored that Loughlin will not be playing the role of Debbie Wilson as the show continues for the next season.

During her run on 90210, Lori also starred in the film Old Dogs with Robin Williams, John Travolta, Seth Green, Kelly Preston, Ella Bleu Travolta, Conner Rayburn, Bernie Mac, Matt Dillon, Rita Wilson, Amy Sedaris, and Ann-Margret (2009); and Meet My Mom co-starring Johnny Messner, Tracy Howe, Stefanie Powers, Troy Winbush, charles Henry Wyson, Rob Nagle, Carey Van Dyke, Burnadean Jones, Uriah Shelton, Sandra Prosper, and Amy Grabow (2010).

We will be seeing more of Lori in the future with her currently working on Hideaway scheduled to be released in 2012.  She co-stars with Steven Weber, Larry Sullivan, Nicole Moore, Jonathan Silverman, Sterling Beaumon, and Leila Leigh.  With Lori Loughlin undoubtedly being one of the most gorgeous women of Hollywood as of right now, there will be plenty more to come.
