It was also in 1982 that Cates made her most famous appearance as Linda Barrett in Fast Times At Ridgemont High.  She co-starred with Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold, Ray Walston, Robert Romanus, Vincent Schiavelli, Amanda Wyss, and Forest Whitaker.  Although she was not the main star of the film, Phoebe was the center of the scene many consider the most sexiest scene in movie history to date when she drops her bikini top in slow motion as she was walking across a diving board to jump into a swimming pool.  At 17, Cates was certainly not shy about doing nude scenes.  For the movie Paradise she did several fully nude scenes for which later she expressed regret in doing.

  1. I cant believe she married that old lecher. She took those fantastic genes, and co mingled them with common hollywood.semetic stock. Somebody has a daddy complex. Oh well, typical liberal hollywood lunacy. Dentists should pay her to model her jaw structure. Something about the way her teeth set that has driven me wild for the last 30 years. God she was fine. Im talking cold sweat, stomach ache, heart poundingly fine. Im talking running through a rainstorm in a members only jacket while U2's in the name of love plays in the background fine. Im talking writing her name on the sidewalk in blood in front of her house drunk at midnite fine.

    2. Kline is hardly an old lecher, and you sound like an anti-semite.
