Kelly Kapowski from the TV show Saved by the Bell played by Tiffani Amber Thiessen

Born Tiffani-Amber Thiessen on January 23, 1974 in Long Beach, California.  She is best known for playing Kelly Kapowski in the TV show Saved by the Bell.  She later portrayed Valerie Malone in Beverly Hills 90210 a role for which she is also well known.

In 1987 Tiffani won the Miss Junior America pageant. A year later she entered and won the Teen magazine Great Model Search .  At the urging of her Uncle who was worked in the entertainment industry with Steven Spielberg, in 1989 she auditioned for the role of Kelly Kapowsi on the up and coming show
Saved by the Bell which was publicized by Teen magazine.  She won the role of course, and co-starred with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario López (A.C. Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Myrtle), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Dustin Diamond (Samuel "Screech" Powers), and Dennis Haskins (Mr. Richard Belding).  Some other co-stars that occasionally appeared on the show were Ed Alonzo, Bridgette Wilson, Leah Remini, and Tori Spelling. Tiffani played the role for the entire run of the show until it ended in 1993.

During her time on
Saved by the Bell, Thiessen also appeared in Live-In starring Kimberley Farr, Lightfield Lewis, Allison Lindsay, and Jenny O'Hara (1989); Charles in Charge starring Scott Baio, Willie Aames, Nicole Eggert, Josie Davis, James T. In 1992 Tiffani had busy year and appeared in Step by Step starring Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Christine Lakin, Christopher Castile, Staci Keanan, Angela Watson, Josh Byrne, Sasha Mitchell, and Brandon Call; Blossom starring Mayim Bialik, Jenna von Oÿ, Michael Stoyanov, Ted Wass, Barnard Hughes, Joseph Lawrence, and David Lascher; Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style co-starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario López, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies, Dustin Diamond, Dennis Haskins, and Dean Jones; The Powers That Be starring John Forsythe, Holland Taylor, Peter MacNicol, Valerie Mahaffey, Elizabeth Berridge, and Eve Gordon; and A Killer Among Friends co-starring Patty Duke, Margaret Welsh, Loretta Swit, David Cubitt, Angie Rae McKinney, Janne Mortil, and Debra Sharkey.

Saved by the Bell ended in 1993, Tiffani would immediately go on to star in the second round of the Saved by the Bell franchise, Saved by the Bell: The College Years co-starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario López (A.C. Slater), Kiersten Warren (Alex Tabor), Dustin Diamond (Samuel "Screech" Powers), Anne Tremko (Leslie Burke), Bob Golic (Michael Rogers), and Patrick Fabian (Professor Jeremiah Lasky).  The show would not be quite as successful as the first installment and would only last one season ending in 1994.

During her run on Saved by the Bell: The College Years, Thiessen starred in the comedy film Son in Law co-starring Pauly Shore, Carla Gugino, Lane Smith, Cindy Pickett, Patrick Renna, Ria Pavia, and Mason Adams (1993).

The following year in 1994, Tiffany would land the role of Valerie Malone joining the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 co-starring Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh), Luke Perry (Dylan McKay), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders), Brian Austin Green (David Silver), and Gabrielle Carteris.  Tiffany would play the role until the show ended in 2000 after it's eleventh season.

During her time on Beverly Hills, 90210, Tiffany would also star in Burke's Law starring Gene Barry, Peter Barton and Dom DeLuise (1994); and the special where her characer Kelly would marry Zack, Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas co-starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario López (A.C. Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Myrtle), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Dustin Diamond (Samuel 'Screech' Powers), Liz Vassey (Carla), Bob Golic (Michael Rogers), Mark DeCarlo (Freddie Silver), Kiersten Warren (Alex Taber), John Sanderford (Mr. Morris), Melody Rogers (Mrs. Melanie Morris ) and Dennis Haskins (Mr. Richard Belding) (1994).

After Beverly Hills, 90210, Thiessen landed a recurring role in another series Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place in 2000. She co-starred with Traylor Howard, Ryan Reynolds, Richard Ruccolo, Suzanne Cryer, Nathan Fillion, and Jillian Bach.  In between episodes she also starred in Ivansxtc co-starring Danny Huston, Peter Weller, James Merendino, Lisa Enos, Adam Krentzman, Joanne Duckman, Morgan Vukovic, Caroleen Feeney, and Sarah Danielle Madison (2000); The Ladies Man co-starring Tim Meadows, Karyn Parsons, John Witherspoon, Will Ferrell, Lee Evans, Sofia Milos, Eugene Levy, Julianne Moore, Tamala Jones, and Billy Dee Williams (2000); and Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth co-starring Aimee Graham, Chris Palermo, Kim Greist, Julie Benz, Majandra Delfino, Tom Arnold, and Rose Marie (2000).

After Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, Tiffany starred in Everything But the Girl co-starring Mackenzie Astin, Brad Raider, Brian Scolaro, Andy Blitz, and Jerry Lambert (2001); Just Shoot Me! starring Laura San Giacomo, Enrico Colantoni, David Spade, Enrico Colantoni, and George Segal (3 episodes as Amy Watson in 2001); and Hollywood Ending co-starring Woody Allen, Téa Leoni, Gregg Edelman, Bob Dorian, Debra Messing, Treat Williams, George Hamilton, and Ivan Martin (2002).

Tiffany decided to bare it all in a racy photo shoot in some clothing that did not leave much to the imagination.  Not the innocent little Kelly we saw on TV anymore!

In 2002, Tiffany starred as 'Billie' Chambers in the series Fastlane co-starring Peter Facinelli, Bill Bellamy, and Big Boy.  She played the role for the single season that the show lasted.  Tiffany would then immediately begin playing the role of Victoria Hill joining the cast of Good Morning, Miami co-starring Constance Zimmer, Mark Feuerstein, Matt Letscher, and Ashley Williams.  Unfortunately, her that show also would only last one more season.

Thiesson would move on however, starring in Stroller Wars with Rebecca Creskoff, JoBeth Williams, Benjamin King, and Rhea Perlman (2006); Pandemic co-starring French Stewart, Faye Dunaway, Jo Champa, Eric Roberts, and Dana Barron (2007); Also in 2007 Tiffany landed the role of Natasha Drew joining the cast of What About Brian co-starring Barry Watson, Matthew Davis, Amanda Detmer, Rosanna Arquette, Sarah Lancaster, Amanda Foreman, and Rick Gomez.  That role lasted one season until the show ended.  In 2008 Tiffany starred in Cyborg Soldier with Bruce Greenwood, Rich Franklin, and Wendy Anderson (2008).

Most recently in 2009-2010, Tiffany starred as Elizabeth Burke in the TV series White Collar co-starring Matthew Bomer, Tim DeKay, Natalie Morales, Marsha Thomason, and Willie Garson.  We'll be seeing more of her in this new series with another season scheduled for 2011!

She has never appeared nude, but as a teen on "Saved by the Bell" she wore countless revealing outfits such as tiny mini-skirts, bathing suits, floral-print body-hugging micro dresses, a very skimpy cheerleading uniform, etc. By age 16, she was regarded by many, including myself, as the sexiest teenage girl on tv.
