Zack Ward who played Scut Farkas in the movie "A Christmas Story"

Zack Ward was born August, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  He is best known for playing Scut Farkus in the Holiday classic "A Christmas Story".  Farkus was the bully who, along with his side kick Grover Dill, tormented Ralphie and his friends.  Out of all of the kids who played in "A Christmas Story", Zack has since then, probably been one of the most prolific actors of the bunch along with Peter Billingsley. He is also well known as Dave Scovil on the TV show "Titus".

"A Christmas Story" was Zack's first acting role in 1983.  He co-starred with Peter Billingsley (Ralphie Parker), Ian Petrella (Randy Parker), Scott Schwartz (Flick), R.D. Robb (Schwartz), and Yano Anaya (Grover Dill).  The story involved Ralphie's quest to get a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas which everyone kept telling him "You'll shoot your eye out kid". On top of his Christmas wish woes, Ralphie, his little brother and his pals had to deal with the terror of Scut Farkus and his sidekick Grover walking to and from school on a dialy basis. Zack was originally slated to play the role of Grover the sidekick, but he eventually was given the larger role of Farkus.
