The following year in 1983 Schwartz landed what is arguably his most memorable and recognized role ever as Ralphie's best friend Flick in the Holiday favorite "A Christmas Story".  Scott co-starred in the movie with Peter Billingsley (Ralphie Parker), Melinda Dillon (Mrs. Parker), Darren McGavin (Mr. Parker aka The Old Man), Ian Petrella (Randy Parker), Zack Ward (Farkus), R.D.
