Beginning his acting career in 1972, he played mostly in TV shows in the early 70's but did a few movies including To Hell You Preach (1972), Tunnel Vision, and The Cat From Outer Space. His many TV credits include Sanford and Son, The Partridge Family, The Doris Day Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Love, American Style, Gunsmoke, Kojak with Telly Savalas and Kevin Dobson, Happy Days, Little House on the Prairie, The Six Million Dollar Man with Lee Majors, On the Rocks, Baretta, M*A*S*H with Alan Alda, Loretta Swit, Harry Morgan, Gary Burghoff, David Ogden Stiers, Jamie Farr, Mike Farrell, William Christopher, Larry Linville, Wayne Rogers, McLean Stevenson, and Kellye Nakahara; and CHiPs with Larry Wilcox and Eric Estrada.

His later TV show credits include Highway to Heaven starring Michael Landon, Victor French and James Troesh, Starman, Murder, She Wrote, 227, The Wonder Years starring Fred Savage, Danica McKellar, Josh Saviano, Dan Lauria, Jason Hervey, Alley Mills, and Olivia d'Abo; Family Matters starring Reginald VelJohnson, Jaleel White, Darius McCrary, JoMarie Payton, Telma Hopkins, and Kellie Shanygne Williams; Melrose Place starring Thomas Calabro, Heather Locklear, Andrew Shue, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Jack Wagner, Josie Bissett, Doug Savant, and Laura Leighton; The John Larroquette Show, and The Guardian in 1993 was his last acting appearance.
